PROJECTS
It may be that you have found your way here due to a conversation we have had or perhaps I have taken an image of you for possible inclusion into a project.
This section is included not to display images from my projects but to explain what these projects mean to me. You may however find a small number of images from each to give a feeling of the direction I am heading in.

As a working photographer my personal projects play an important role in driving my creative passion with no need to 'deliver' other than to my own sense of creativity. The freedom these projects provide me to explore any particular niche of my world that I choose is something I am very grateful for. Currently I am actively working on a handful of these plus I have a ever growing list of project ideas that I wish to develop over time. Most of my current projects are looking to be long term with their completion likely to be in the order of months if not years.
As I complete each of these they will most likely find their way into print for my own personal satisfaction, other media is a possibility but there is nothing quite like the experience of printing your own work.

Non project related images can be viewed via my Galleries section.
My Pier Project is a documentation of the not just the pier and the surrounding area, but also of the Pier People. The term 'Pier People' was coined during the fund raising efforts to build the current pier and I love all it encompasses. The people who are drawn to the pier always amaze me. They come for a plethora of reasons, some locals, some from the far corners of our world.
This is a project I have been working on for a few years now and will be presented in an Exhibition in the next year or two. To be notified of when this will happen you can sign up to my newsletter.
NO STRANGERS HERE

If I have met you on the street and taken your image after speaking with you, then this is where your image will most likely find a home. As the project title suggests and the old saying goes, "there are no strangers here, only friends you haven't met." One of the things I love about walking the streets with my camera is the people I meet.
